Starter and Pro: give pre-orders a percentage or fixed discount, and schedule a campaign to start at a set date and time. All plans: an expected shipping note under the pre-order button and on the order, a low stock message based on your real inventory, and adding a whole collection's products to a campaign. Signups are now unlimited on every plan; the plan limit applies to back-in-stock emails per month instead (50 on Free, 500 on Starter, unlimited on Pro). Shoppers who don't fit this month stay on the list.
When a product comes back in stock, everyone waiting for it gets an email right away, in the language they signed up in. Shoppers waiting for a particular size or color are only emailed when that variant is back. You can switch the automatic email off on the Notify page.
Start Shopify Flow workflows when a shopper joins a waitlist, when restock emails go out, or when a pre-order ends. Connect Klaviyo to record waitlist activity on your customers' profiles. With ZS Wishlist installed too, shoppers see one Notify button and get one restock email.
Pre-orders set to run until a release date now return the product to regular selling once the date passes, instead of only hiding the button.
The storefront widget now speaks 10 languages and the admin 9, following your store's and your admin's language. New merchants get a short welcome email with the setup steps.
The app embed now always replaces Add to cart on pre-order products, and pre-orders carry a visible "Pre-order" label on the cart, checkout and order. Notify me "until quantity limit" now counts signups, and the editor won't save a campaign without its date or limit.
Turning on the ZS Pre-Order & Badges app embed is all the theme setup you need; the ZS Pre-Order block is now optional for custom placement.
Campaign pages now load and change only your own store's campaigns.
Back-in-stock email addresses are deleted 90 days after the email is sent, or after 365 days if it never is.
Pre-orders use Shopify's native pre-order selling plans, so they check out like any other order.
